What are some examples of calls in which customers wanted you to bend the fundamental nature of reality to meet their demands?
When I did support for a cell carrier, I sometimes had customers who wanted to activate a phone that was too old to work on our network. One woman became angry and thought this was ridiculous. I explained that at some point a phone becomes so old that it is not practical for the company to continue to provide backwards compatibility, but she argued that we should support EVERY model. I did not ask, but I wondered whether she would also include the bag phones from the early 90s that plugged into a car’s cigarette lighter.
