Do call center managers monitor this subreddit? One time well over a year ago I complained about a manager who would pick a bad customer review, post it in the chat line, and then publicly shame the agent. During team meetings, he would pick a metric some of us did not meet, call us out by name in front of everyone, and demand that we explain our numbers.
I did not name the manager or the company, but soon after I posted it, that behavior stopped. Management still treated us like drones, even though that specific form of abuse ended. No matter, they always have another way to dehumanize their agents.
