Ok, sometimes you have a nice story to share.
I had someone who waited 30min today as there were a lot of people calling about a letter they had received from our company which clogged the lines.
This customer needed a team that no longer has a phone number and took a while to locate what type it was as it was older than I am!
As opposed to shouting, complaining about the wait, he accepted the explanation and apology and then thanked me for finding the external email he could contact and also reaching out for a call back as he had some more unusual questions.
He then finished by wishing us all a pleasant day and that he hoped we didn’t get too much abuse.
