It’s one of the most frustrating things I have to deal with daily.
I’d understand if I am not being clear enough with my answer, so I’ve worked myself into making sure my answers are as concise and with the least amount of interpretation left to them as possible.

Yet, every damn time someone asks something I can’t know, and no matter how I word it, how much I try to tell you “You are asking me about something that hasn’t happened yet, how the hell should I know?”, they still have to ask it again, and AGAIN I have to tell them “I can’t know my dude, I’m not the CEO, I don’t make the decisions, I CAN’T TELL YOU BECAUSE WE DON’T KNOW”.

GAHH is so annoying! They think that if they ask the same question a few times, then the answer will be different one of those times! At best, I can give you an educated guess, but I tried not to do that because then people treat my guess as gospel and go around calling back again with the good ol’ “Last time I called, your coworker told me X”.
No, I didn’t! I just threw you a bone so you would stop asking the same question!
