Real heart dropping moment

[ad_1]

When I was fairly new in my insurance job I made the mistake of speaking my mind before the person hung up the phone.
A woman had been really short with me and quite rude and when I had finished speaking to her I said to the person beside me ‘well she was rude’ and then heard the heart dropping words ‘I’m still here’ I wanted the ground to swallow me and I am fairly certain I turned like 10 shades whiter.
I had to get my manager to smooth things out and then got a gentle talking to about being careful what I said while I bawled my eyes out.
Lesson learned…. And I still get heart palpitations thinking about it 4 years and 1 job later!

I need advice, 7months in and feeling miserable. Should I quit?

Ma’am, there’s not a word in human language to express just how much of a “no” I can say to that request.
