Sorry I Don’t Have Much Time

Why? Ohhhhh why do people call in to handle an issue then proceed to tell you that they don’t have the time? What are your best stories of this and/or how do you handle them?

Typically, my approach to this is. I let them know we are open 24/7 (I work for an insurance company) and they can call back when they have more time as this “insert the reason for their call” will take 20 minutes or so. I over estimate in order to “exceed” expectation and it make them feel better.

What do you guys got….
