Call center for a credit union.
Man calls in wanting to make a cash deposit…over the phone..using our online banking app.
Works for a check, why not cash?
His rationale is that bills have serial numbers on them. If he takes a picture of the bills front and back that cash should be in his account and can’t be used anywhere else.
I want to say I don’t know how anyone will ever beat this level of stupid but that’s just inviting trouble.
