About 30 years ago I worked in an outbound call center. I had mentioned to the person I was speaking to that our call center was in South Dakota, so she started asking if I see prairie dogs a lot (they weren’t common in my part of the state).
I told her they weren’t common in my area, but I heard they were good eatin’ because I thought it would be funny. She believed me and asked if I knew of any recipes.
I don’t know why I’m sharing this. It was just a funny experience I had and I know a lot of you are currently working in the soul-crushing industry that are call centers. I hope this brightened your day a bit.
