This particular call was an escalated call. Customer called to complain about where his package was delivered. I work for the company that he made the purchase with, not the delivery company.

M: Thank you for holding, I apologize for the wait. I’m the supervisor on duty, I understand you had an issue with a delivery?
A: Yes. I’ve called your company before and was told that this would be taken care of and OBVIOUSLY it wasn’t as I had to go to my building’s mail room for my package. I pay YOU to deliver this to my door and it wasn’t.
Looking at his order history this is his only order and his apartment number is listed on the address
M: I understand your frustration sir. I do see your apt number is listed. Have you contacted FedEx about this?
A: I can’t contact them because YOU are the shipper. I pay YOU to deliver this to my front door. If I call FEDEX they won’t talk to me because YOU shipped it not ME. I’ve worked for UPS, I’ve owned my own business, I know how this works and what you’re saying is WRONG. YOU have to call them.
M: I understand that you made the purchase with us sir, your apartment number is included so that is an issue with the FEDEX driver not with our company.
A: THAT’S NOT HOW THAT WORKS! IT IS YOUR COMPANY’S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE PACKAGE IS DELIVERED TO MY DOOR!
M: Sir if you continue to yell I will have to disconnect this call.
A: YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND, YOU’RE WRONG
M: Sir you are continuing to yell so I am disconnecting the call
