At my call center, we have to validate any person not listed on the account. It takes 30 seconds and just is asking a client if they give permission for so-and-so to speak on their behalf. As I was trying to explain a very simple document to sign, the client just handed the phone to her grandson. I explained to the young man that I needed to obtain permission from crazy on the account. Rather than come to the phone, she preferred to rant and rave in the background. After I refused to continue with call, she came back on the line, read me the riot act then hung up on me. Jesus!
