Does anybody else ever get people on the phone telling you you’re rude or have an attitude when you’re literally just talking?

It doesn’t happen to me often but when it does it’s always really weird and out of the blue.

I just got one today that went like this:

Me: Thank you for calling roadside assistance company. My name is noodles who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?

Cx: Yeah this is customer.

Me: Hello and how can I assist today?

Cx: Do you need my policy number?

Me: I may but first how can I help?

Cx: You know what I’m going to call back and get somebody less snappy! click
