So this happened about 3 months ago and reading through these posts reminded me of it.
Myself – Me Nutty Ass Bitch – Nab
Bit of context, I work in a fraud department for a very large credit card company, we usually deal with unblocking cards due to unknown transactions/ making fraud charge claims.
So night was going as usual, almost no calls which was nice for a change.
I hear the dreaded beep and say my intro, right off the bat she is the most aggressive customer I’ve had in a while, conversation goes as follows
Me: And what can I help you with today?
Nab: Well lets see, I have a limit of 4000 and I cant use any of it.
Me: Ok and what do you mean you cant use it?
Nab: YOU FUCKING TOOK IT ALL, ITS ALL FUCKING GONE AND IS MAXED OUT.
Me: Okayyy, let me take a look and see what I can do.
Put her on hold and do my due diligence, find about 3800$ in straight up fraud charges linked to a lot of known scam websites. (These sites are used to drain cards down to 0 balance)
Me: So I looked around they account for a bit and found the card is nearly drained from a bunch of scam websites, its not a huge deal, I just have to send off a fraud case and within 30-60 days the entire amount will be credited back.
Nab: Fuck that, I want my 4000$ right now.
Me: Well ma’am, we cant just give you 4000$, this money is the banks money to begin with.
Nab: THEN PUT IT UP YOUR ASS YOU FUCKING SHADY THIEFS (Hangs up)
Never heard from her since and simply went about my day because we cannot do a fraud case without their consent, which I assume I didn’t have.
