Ugh, every. single. time.
I don’t get why adults don’t check availability before shoving all of their eggs into one basket, and then getting a bit sassy when things don’t go their way.
I just had a call that went very much like this…
Me: Good morning (Company name), ohmygoditsnancy speaking, How can I help?
Customer: Hi, I need to book XYZ for tomorrow at noon
Me: Sadly, that’s already booked out
Customer: But I’ve already told my friends that we could do this.
Me: Perhaps it’s best to check availability before confirming it. I have 1pm available if that’s of any use?
Lots of huffing and puffing from him later…
“Fine, I’ll call my friends and check.”
