People, please do not swerve for wildlife when you are driving!
You wouldn’t believe the number of outages caused by a well-meaning driver swerving to avoid that squirrel, smashing down the utility pole, and causing power outages in the neighborhood.
The worst part? The driver’s insurance company is responsible for paying for that Utility Pole to be put back up.
So just remember when you see a squirrel/raccoon/skunk ambling along the road that it is truly Survival of the Fittest. Those animals not fit enough to get away don’t deserve to procreate.
