"So, is it for a year?"

Just a quickie I wanted to relay to y’all on my break.

I work in insurance sales and get this really dumb question all the time. Our website says “Your six month policy premium is $XXX.XX” and I’ll tell folks the same is they didn’t go online. But some folks just don’t read or listen. I’m used to it. But this lady’s stupidity outright stunned me.

She read verbatim from the website “Your six month policy premium is $XXX.XX” and then asked me “So, is that like, paying for a year of insurance or just 6 months?”

I genuinely wonder how some of these people pass a written test to even get their licenses.
