I work in a company that isn’t exactly a call center, but a majority of the job is done by calling customers or customers calling in, so I figured this would fit this sub.
I work at an insurance brokerage, and one of my customers had called in to make a claim. The only important details are that he owned a restaurant, and a school bus had driven through the front window, hence the claim.
While I was pulling up his policy information, I guess someone walked into his restaurant because I heard him speaking to someone in the background. That’s when he said the most iconic line:
” Yeah, you didn’t hear? We’re a drive thru now.”
I had to mute the call I was laughing so hard.
