Not a specific story, but I work in a call center and have an extremely thick Boston accent. It makes it somewhat challenging for guest to understand when i ask “to chahge their cahd.” My recent move is to say r as in Red Sox when using the phonetic alphabet just because it is much more fun than saying Romeo
