I am an RN and part of my job is to provide support to the hospital call center. All inbound calls. Mostly basic customer service related. Sometimes clinical and that’s where I ( and others) step in.
Working in a hospital I am naturally concerned about people being healthy. I can see firsthand that many who work in the call center struggle with health issues. There is a lot of smoking, a lot of overeating, a lot of snacking on junk food, a lot of life stress, a lot of mental health issues. Significant numbers of people on intermittent FMLA.
I wonder if it is my Center or if it is like this everywhere.
