Taking Away After-Call Work

For the year that I’ve worked at this call center, we’ve been able to put in notes and do work after the customer has hung up.

But now the company is taking that away tomorrow. You now have to take notes and queue to go on break during the call, while the customer is on the line. You don’t get any time to breathe after a horrible customer. You forget to queue for a break? Tough luck, you get another call immediately after.

I’m holding back tears as I’m typing this out. The change goes into effect tomorrow and I’m seriously debating on not coming back to this hellhole.
