First supcall I ever release

I’m a supervisor on a video-game and collectibles company for the past 8-9 months now so any sup-call is relatively easy to handle as all they wants is free credit points on their accounts or 5-10 bucks discount on an order, but this guy we’ll be calling Josh made me loss my nerves.

Agent raise her hand and inquires about the pre order bonus content for Madden NFL 20 Ultimate Superstar Edition a client didn’t received, I reach her spot to verify the reason why this client didn’t received the bonus and we validate that he pre-ordered couple of days ago.

Me: Have you verified if he ordered the ultimate edition?

Agent: Yeah, first thing I did.

Me: Ok, cool, let’s check at what time he made the order.

*Agent search for the transaction information and confirms it was 3 days ago*

Me: Ok Agent educate guest that as he made the order just some days ago he’s at the bottom of the queue and these items were while supplies last

The agent agrees to this so I move on, almost 10 minutes later the same agent comes to my spot.

Agent: I’m still in the line with Josh, he wants to be compensated by a supervisor for this problem as our webpage doesn’t say anything about while supplies last.

I made a quick search on our webpage before I took the call just to validate that in fact this while supplies last warning is displayed twice within the game’s information.

Me: Thank you so much for holding on the line, my name is Haley floor supervisor, how can I help you?

Josh: Well you better help me or imma call my lawyer against you, your family and aaaaaaaall this company, you guys are stealing my money, I didn’t get what I paid for *heavy breath* WHERE’S MY F****NG CONTENT.

Me: Josh I want to apologies for this hard time you’ve been having, this is not the way we want our clients to feel when they buy something from us, let me go ahead and confirm what it’s happening on your order and the reason why you didn’t get this additional content ok?.

Me trying to not lose my nerves: This is a professional call Josh and I’m just trying to giving you the reason why behind all these as I also find a possible workaround

Me: I’ll be more than happy to provide with a backup code but neither the manufacturer nor the console companies have provide us yet with any code so as a compensation I can give y… (interrupted again)

Josh: Listen and listen carefully… I.DO.NOT.WANT.ANY.F*KING.COMPENSATION… I WANT MY CONTENT THE ONE THAT I PAID FOR, do you think your shitty queue lie was going to save you? My roomie pre-ordered it two days ago AND HE GOT IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS LOOK AT HIS INFO AND CALL ME LIAR THEN I DARE YOU.

Me: I totally understand your frustation on this situation Josh I’ll definitely go ahead and check your friend’s order with his permission (rommie goes into the phone and validates all the info). Ok Josh, I do see here the pre-orders he placed one on July 8 and the other two days ago, I’m validating that he received the bonus content for the one he placed on the 8th

Josh: LIAR LIAAAR HE DOESN’T HAVE TWO GAMES DON’T TRY TO PLAY ME AROUND LIKE THIS, YOU’RE WORKING HERE ‘CAUSE YOU’RE SO RETARDED NOT EVEN MCDONALDS HIRED YOU RIGHT? LISTEN TO ME, HE JUST ORDER ONE, OOOONE GAME AND IT WAS TWO DAYS AGO NOT ON JULY 8TH SO… FOR THE LAST TIME GIVE ME MY F***** BONUS and… as you wanted to give me a compensation I would like a full refund, shipment included, without having to return my game, ARE WE CLEAR?

An irritated me: Thank you for the feedback Josh but I’m not retarded, I do appreciate your concern about my mental health but there’s no need to worry. Right now I cannot honor your request for a full refund without having the game back but I’ll definitely can offer you a $20 GC so you can get some currency on the game and get the content. Also for future references please be aware that these bonus content are always gonna be while supplies last, this information is within the game’s details on our web page quoted 2 times at the beginning and the middle of the information.

Josh: This is why your company is going out of business, you don’t get it, don’t ya? I’M BEYONG GOOD AND EVIL, I’M BEYOND YOUR STUPID SUPPLIES POLICIES SO GIVE.ME.THE.CONTEEEEEEEEEENT YOU RETARDED IDIOT.

Me: Josh I have been more than polite with you as we are on a professional so this is your final warning for you to stop using that type of language on me or I will be forced to release this… (interrupted)

Josh: I DARE YOU B**CH, YOU WILL NOT RELEASE THIS CALL OR I WILL MAKE SURE TO FIRE YOU, I KNOW WHO’S THE DISTRICT LEADER AND I’M GONNA DEPORT YOUR ASS TO HELL, YOU CANNOT RELEASE THIS CALL AS YOU CANNOT RELEASE YOUR FATHER’S C**K RIGHT? YOU’RE HIS LITTLE B***H THAT’S WHY YOU DON’T HAVE A REAL JOB LIKE ME? UH? UH? SO WATCHA GONNA DO? WATCHA GONNA DO? WATCHA GONNA DO?

Me: Thank you for calling ______ have an excellent weekend. (release the call)

Once I released the call I request all of the supcalls from anyone calling about that order be transferred to me right away, I got him 7 times on the phone and every single time he hung up as soon as I prompt my greeting.

I’ll update this on Monday with any interaction he tries during the weekend.
