I just heard a fellow agent on a very fun call. I don’t know what the lady said, but you could tell what was going on just by his answers.

“So yes, I do see your order was cancelled. Looks like the item you wanted isn’t available anymore…

yes, I do see we offered you a similar item but you declined…

I do see here that we did try to offer another item, but after reaching out multiple times to you, we never heard back and had to cancel…

I’m sorry you feel that way, but we did try multiple times…

you can still get the original similar item, but we can’t un-cancel an order, so you’d have to pay about twice the price. We offered it to you for no price difference, and it wasn’t up to your standards…

I do apologize, but since you never replied…

again, I’m sorry that we weren’t able to get you a similar item, but we did our due diligence by reaching out multiple times…”

There is some more, but I’m sure you all can imagine. She then escalated to a supervisor, who offered $50 off to get the item she deemed not up to her standards, and she still argued with him.

Such fun times…
