C: Yes you can. Press stop. Then help me
Me: (we’re about to hit a standstill boys) I’m not able to stop the recording. If you want to call back when you’re more comfortable with the conversation being recorded, you can.
C: No. I pay for this tech support (it’s an add on for the insurance) and you will help me. Now stop the recording and help me.
Me: Again, I’m not able to stop the recording.
C: YES YOU CAN! UNDER CALIFORNIA STATE LAW, I CAN TELL YOU TO STOP THE RECORDING!
Me: (Im in Nevada dillweed! I really dont think it matters) Recordings is something out of my control. What do you need help with.
C: My DVR stopped recording my shows.
Me: (youfuckingkiddingme?!) I do tech support for cell phones…
C: Then get me to the correct department and tell them to stop the recording.
Me: Kay. *begins transfer. Get to rep. Informs him of the customers stubbornness.

Me: nope. I dont know what you need to do, but have fun . merges calls. Thanks for holding customer, I have new rep here, he’s going to help. Just a reminder the call is monitored and recorded.
