I work in a call center for an electric company.
Well last month I talked to a customer who told me the most stupid thing I’ve heard in the year and a half I been working there
Her service was disconnected for not paying, and she was telling me she had called the day before to get an extension, and actually she did, but because of her payment history she was told to pay a partial payment in the next 24 hours.
The day before I took the call, she called at 8 in the morning, and she had to pay by 8 in the morning the day after, and she made it at 2 PM.
So I told her that I understood the issue, but we needed the payment 24 hours after she paid.
And she told me, it’s 24 hours.
I was like, ma’am it’s been more than 24 hours.
The she was like “24 hours its until midnight the next day” 😂 so long story short she was the one who screwed up
