Highschool graduate in early 20s, worked in a Seafood and Deli department of a grocery store for four years. Job sucks, little benefits, pay is poor ($11/hr after I fought for that, was making $9/hr for 3 years. Hours are all over the place, work 6 days a week 36-48 hours per week including saturdays and sundays, day off is usually a monday or wednesday. It can’t get much worse than this right? I am being offered an inbound call center job with immediate benefits, $16/hr, 40 hours per week 9-5. that sounds amazing. What’s it like working in a call center and how is the job overall?
