Death and violence threats

I have worked at a call center for about 1.5 years in total.

Once, last week, I had an irate caller. Actually, I had a lot, but this guy takes the cake.

He threatened to find us and attack us with a machete.

I was stunned, wordless. It startled me someone would say that. I knew he couldn’t find me or hurt me, but still. That’s a first.

Then he used a trigger word so reps from the FI had to listen to the call.

So, wow. Death threat one. Here’s to the first of many. (Not).
