I work for a shopping call center in the US. I am working tonight, Christmas eve. Most callers tonight tell me they hope I have a nice holiday. It is taking a lot of self control to refrain from telling them that them calling in is the reason our center is open tonight!
Some are clearly just lonely. I’m fine with them.
Others I feel less charitable about.
Here’s to a fast night with nice people!
