Had a short conversation with a caller who wanted to ask some general billing questions when he hit me with this ridiculousness…
Caller: And how are you paying us?
Me: Direct deposit, within 2 days of sending us the bill.
C: Ok, great. Hey do you guys do CP accounts?
For those who do not know, it is a membership program for this brand of hotels. I used to work at this brand, lucky for him, so I wasn’t totally thrown off.
Me: No sir, those are set up by your brand, you’ll need to call your brand’s help line for that.
C: You don’t do these?
Me: Afraid not.
C: What’s the number to corporate? To ask them about the CP accounts?
Me: I don’t know the number to your corporate office, sir.
C: disbelief You don’t know?
Me: I used to work for that brand, so I know what you’re referring to but I don’t have that number. We’re two separate companies.
C: Well if you used to work here, then you should know.
Me: You currently work there, so you should DEFINITELY know.
C: I’ll find it. click
