Working as a non-native speaker, for the first time I didn’t get insulted for my foreign accent

[ad_1]

Today a customer complimented on my accent which was nice because usually when I get comments about my accent they come from angry customers. When they have no more arguments and i can’t give them the solution they want, they just insult me and ask for a native-speaker. It doesn’t happen that often and I try not to care but still I find it discouraging as I try my best to speak correctly and have no problems with understanding.
Anyone has similiar experiences with working at a CC with foreign language?
EDIT: I speak German at work

Anyone hate when clients want to confirm all the time things that are already confirmed?
