what to say/do in an interview to get promoted from agent to team lead?

Hey friends!

Currently, I’m working as a customer service agent for a campaign that is not that stressful and is pretty fine. Right now my team lead is going to be transferred to another account and the vacancy is open, actually in a range of two-three weeks after interviews and tests, the chosen one will be hired, and I will love to get the role. That being said I have no clue about what a team leader does or how to shine in the interview, this is my first time in a call center and applying for this role. I study physiology and have some experience in administrative roles so I know that I have some social, cognitive, and working skills that make me a good candidate.

To get prepared, I just want to know some tips, tricks and things I should (or not) say, some general advice on how to fake that I’m the perfect candidate for the role of team leader in the interview.

Could you please awesome people that have already worked as a team lead (or not) provide me some good quotes? And share your experiences?
