I work for an insurance/roadside company and got this doozy today…

M is me and C is crazy caller.

M: Thank you for calling ABC this is oakandiron in sales, how can I help you?

C: You’re supposed to be helping me!

M: How can I help you?

C: You’re supposed to help me!

M: Yes, how can I help you?

C: She put me on hold! You’re supposed to be helping ME!

M: Ma’am how can I help you?

C: YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING ME!

M: Too stunned to speak

C: Oh forget it *click*

Sounds like the rep dropped her in the queue because we’re too understaffed and/or she’s a grade A awful human but most reasonable people would just give me the reason for their call. Imagine sitting on hold only to throw a fit.
