Question about warm transfers

Hey guys, I am a new call center rep for a major insurance company and I was just wondering how to end a call after warm transferring someone. This was never exactly explicitly explained to me, and I feel like I did it wrong. Do I just explain the situation, bring the customer on, introduce them and leave the call? Do I stay on longer while y’all take info? Just leave as soon as I merge the call? Say bye? It feels so awkward :’)
