A women called 2 days ago about an issue that she wanted an update on. I was about to explain and see if we could get someone out there but I used the word “unfortunately “. Well, she started screeching. “THERES THAT WORD AGAIN, THERES THAT WORD AGAIN HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME” I was extremely confused and asked her what she meant, she wouldn’t let me get a word in so I advised “excuse me ma’am I will terminate this call if you don’t speak to me properly. As I don’t appreciate the way you’re speaking to me.” She advised that “I don’t like the word choice you used, you need to change how you speak” in the end we got the issue sorted but wow that caught me off guard!
