Three separate times in a two minute phone call this guy tried to hit on me, tell me how beautiful I sounded, etc.
My whole job is to schedule people for estimates for a home improvement service, and one of the questions I have to ask is when their spouse is available to try to get an appointment time where we can meet the both of them to sell our product. This guy did everything he could to emphasize that he was single, and looking.
Dude. I am half your age, in a totally different part of the country, and just straight up not interested. Also, I’m literally paid to be pleasant to you over the phone.
Nothing this guy said was that gross but it still made me feel uneasy enough that I rushed my call close and took a walk around the office to calm down.
I do not understand the mindset of hitting on a call center employee.
