I lost it


So customer called in today asking why our promotions last until today. I told them that that we have a department specifically who arranges promotions and sales and we are not able to determine why they were arranged to be applied as well as how long they last.

Then they started to get angry shouting because they have no money right now to buy shoes and their next payday is next week where we don’t have a sale anymore. Blaming us and how bad our sales department chooses dates and how long sales last.

I just internally sighed and apologized and explained that they can always check for new upcoming sales.

Thankfully the call didn’t last long. Still stressful though.
