No, the fact that the account holder has lung cancer doesn’t mean we can breach our privacy policies


Totally sympathise with this customer however her reaction was very much uncalled for.

– Calls in to question unpaid bill

-Advise her name isn’t listed on the account she will need to put the account holder on the phone for authorisation

-She tells me account holder is unable to speak due to lung cancer, I advise we have a live chat service as well

-Customer is unable to use a phone, I advise if we get power of attorney documents we can discuss the account

– Documents not available

– After much back and forth, tells me to go f*** myself
