I used to work in the call center for a transportation/delivery company. I worked that lovely swing shift when I started, so I would get angry calls starting around 4:30 pm. There was a man who called almost every day to yell that his stuff was late. Then he would apologize because he knew it wasn’t MY fault and then yell again, followed by another apology. I appreciated the apology, and once I realized he just needed to get it off his chest, I didn’t mind taking the call. I wonder how he’s doing and if he’s still mad he doesn’t get his stuff earlier in the day.
