Avoidable frustration

Me: Thank you for calling _________ Bank, how can I assist you?

Mr. Inconvenienced: I need the username for my auto loan.

Me: You’ve reached the bank side, allow me to connect you to auto.

Mr. Inconvenienced: Jesus Fucking Christ. Fine.

The bank system is completely different than the loan system. If you’re too lazy to find the correct number, the only thing that should be said is “thank you” when I offer to connect you with the correct department that is able to assist you.
