So I was hiring for my escalations team from existing agents recently and not sure why this didn’t click beforehand. I was looking on the resumes for the jobs held prior to my company, I was curious but honestly the current stats, interview and calls I pulled would be the deciding factor.
100% of these agents that have survived 1-2 years of call center work had mental health, behavioral health or direct support positions on thier resumes.
You have to be good with crazies to survive call centers it seems. My background is all financial sales and services so I would be an exception it seems.
