I work in a call center scheduling doctor’s appointments for people in the major city in New York State. We are not allowed to be the first party to hang up the call. I am blown away how many people do not end call on their phone when the call is over. Doesn’t matter if they are young or old, it happens multiple times per day. Jokes on them though because i just sit in their pocket listening for 7 minutes until i decide quality might frown upon this and force myself to hang up.
