Missing delivery of the unreleased S20

Highlights of the weekend;

  • 30 minute complaint call from a customer about a missing delivery of the Samsung S20 (which isn’t released until March 13)

  • 20 minutes solid (no hold) with a customer asking why our system hasn’t been updated when he updated his details with Santander (I work for a phone network)

  • 1 hour with a customer demanding to speak to retentions because the price of the contract she signed up for has since gone down, who wouldn’t accept that sometimes we have sales but that doesn’t mean she can get a discount on the plan she’s already accepted

  • a customer repeatedly saying “tell me why I should stay with X” and demanding compensation when her same day delivery was delayed due to her missing the 12pm cut-off
