One of the first things this customer said to me. I see this said a lot in the other Tales subreddits as well. I wonder where they get this mindset that people can’t work and go to school at the same time? Is it because boomers had such cheap tuition and living expenses they didn’t need to work to support themselves through college?
I so badly wish I could tell them that we make way more than what I see a lot of fresh from college graduates being offered. Oh, and I get to work from home in my jammies while watching Youtube and petting my dog.
