My favorite one yesterday. Me: “hi, you’re speaking with Me, can I confirm your name and account number?” Customer: “yarrrr, I be Mr. Customer from (company). Shiver me timbers and hoist ye file number xxxxxxxx”
I knew then it was going to be a good call 😀 Luckily, it is someone I have spoken with a few times, he did say later he thought I would be the one to go along with it and not report him to his boss. Sometimes I love my job.
