I’ve been working at a call center that provides roadside assistance for various insurance companies, and I’m finally going to be quitting this upcoming week. The people who call in are absolute monsters. I mean, they are awful. There was never a day that I didn’t get cussed, threatened, or mistaken for their actual insurance companies (even though we clearly said in the beginning that we were administering service for them). This job has completely ruined my mental and physical health, as well as the relationship I have with my significant other.
There is a way out, y’all. Please do not stay if it’s hurting you or anyone else in your life. You need to get out of there.
