Worked for a gas company call center. A lady called in to set up an account. While getting her info she started asking what could possibly use gas in her new house. I told her the stove, maybe, heating system, water heater. etc. She was quiet for a bit then she asked…”what does a water heater do?” I thought she was maybe joking and I stoped typing a second. I told her it heats water…”I thought hot water was in the shower and sinks” she said.
