I work for a place that allows people to sell stuff. If you sell through our site but cannot fulfill, there are penalties. This guy reported he didn’t have the stuff he sold anymore, and was mad that we were charging him. He had apparently sold the stuff to another website.
My favorite part of the conversation was when he said, “How do I know you didn’t know I sold it on (this other site which we’re not affiliated with) and only sold this to charge me money??!!!”
Like yes, we totally forced someone to purchase your item because we somehow magically knew you had sold your item elsewhere…
