First thank you for doing a thankless job.

Second my hubby and I have different ways of handling calls to call centers.

Me, I’m nice. I tell jokes. I ask how the agent is doing. I thank them for their help. I usually find something in common, pets, long term marriage etc which leads to actual conversation.

Hubby, he’s rude right off the bat. I tell him honey not vinegar gets results but he just can’t help himself and regularly gets hung up on. Now in real life he’s a super nice person. We’ve bern married 30 years. He goes out if his way to help others, spent 23 years in the military.

Are you more likely to help me (Mrs. nice) or him (Mr. rude)? Thanks all!

Customer basically making up her own imaginary company policies and then mad when things don’t go her way
