"I had a problem on your website, so I called someone else"

So, this guy who isn’t even our client calls me and says that someone else entirely is having issues with our site.

After 5 minutes I realized he won’t have the necessary information needed and I will have to call the client to get more information. He lets me know, “Just a warning, she was quite assertive when we talked.” At this point, I already know what happened. I then called the client.

RC- Rude Client
M- Me.

M- Can I speak to *name*?

RC- This is her, what do you want?

M- I’m calling back to help you with the problem you had, could I have the submission number you got?
RC- I CALLED *Different Company* AND TOLD THEM TO FIX IT AND CALL ME BACK WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME

M- He didn’t have all the info so I took over. I can fix it really quickly if you just give me the information

RC- BUT I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE FOR THE PAST HOUR OMG

M- Yes, but if you have an issue on our site you should have called us. Can I have the information so I can fix it and let you get back to your work

RC- *gives info*

M- Everything pulled up fine, it’s in your drafts. Just so you know, our number is *number* if you have any more problems with us.

Also, the fact that everything pulled up fine does not surprise me. She did not have any previous drafts that were even close to what I had. So, she had not tried this at all and “spent an hour” trying to figure out how to skip on doing a task that takes 30 seconds.

Oh, Henry…

May I have the error message?
