I work for a website that deals with Lawyers. Most are old, and don’t want to spend the time learning the very system that makes their lives convenient.
I can deal with people who don’t know how to use the system, that’s why they hired me. I can deal with rude people, that’s why they hired me. I can NOT deal with people who don’t know how to use the system and be rude, learn the system if you have such a huge problem with it.
Lady Lawyer: LL
Me : Me
Me: Blah blah, how can I help you?
LL: *Already super rude tone* Yeah your system is STUCK UP AGAIN.
Me: I’m sorry about that, what is going on?
LL: OMG I JUST SAID IT. YOUR SYSTEM IS STUCK UP AGAIN.
Me: Yes maam, are you receiving an error?
LL: *practically screaming her head off* IT SAYS CASE PARTY FIELD IS EMPTY WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN.
Me: I can go into your account and check…*takes email*… Looks like you missed adding case parties on the first page, I can fix that for you. Could you tell me *person’s name* is the respondent or the dependent?
LL: OH JUST SHUT UP. YES YES THAT IS MY CLIENT THE RESPONDENT GOD!
Me: You should be able good to go. You just need to select that.
I looked her up and apparently she isn’t a very nice person in real life too. Well, that’s no surprise.
