I work in a call centre in Ireland.
The country has mostly shut down until 3pm tomorrow. No public transport in my city at all. We are experiencing extreme snow conditions, last seen 36 years ago.
My employer has announced that they expect us in work tomorrow from 1pm, and are refusing to acknowledge the lack of transport, despite the majority of staff relying on buses..
Apparently we can all just take the bus…which isn’t running…
I left a really crappy company because this one is better…
Everywhere was closed from 1ish today.. there is a country wide warning to stay indoors from 4pm today until 3pm tomorrow for safety.
Argh! Just annoyed that they are contradicting the public bus company!!
