Ok so I’m actually the caller in this scenario. I came home one day to my electricity off. I’d just paid and knew there was no way it should’ve been disconnected. I also happened to have a guest staying with me, so I was a little embarrassed to come home with my guest/ future partner, looking like I’m too poor to pay my bills. So I call and the rep tells me I haven’t paid my bill, and it’s disconnected. Flustered and mortified, I explain I’ve just paid, maybe I didn’t pay the full amount? I ask what my balance is, she says 13$. Ok soooo I need to pay 13$ today? She says, nah I’m just kidding there’s a blackout in your area. I laughed my ass off, I wish all representatives were like that 🤣
